There are lots of great tips to be found out there and plenty of bad ones too. My goal is to spot the good ones for you.

Starting off with tips on writing from the poetic photoblogger Michelle Ensminger. I find that a lot of the tips given out by mainstream blogging guides don’t mention enough about the internal creative steps you can take to improve your writing.

Many artists when thinking of online websites and blogs, immediately concentrate on how they can sell their art. How many think of offering workshops on their blog I wonder. Rebecca Hillman is a great example of an Irish Artisan Blogger, who is successfully selling workshop sessions on her blog.

I hope to have many tips and tutorials on this blog aimed at the novice and advanced artisan blogger. Below are some training videos I have created for blogging in Typepad. I start off with Typepad, because I believe it is the easiest blogging platform to use for blogging newcomers. The tutorials are told in a clean and simple english, with the minimum of technical terms. All the basics of blogging with typepad are covered here. I will set up a category for beginner and advanced tips so that you can easily follow according to your skill level.
